Prairie Blend Low Voice Choir

Prairie Blend stands as a testament to the unifying power of music.
For more than 20 years, this low voice choir has played a vital role in the cultural landscape of Western Manitoba. Under the
leadership of founding conductor Deanna Ginn with collaborative pianist Leanna Mitchell, the ensemble has fostered
a vibrant community of singers from diverse backgrounds. Gathering once a week to create music amidst their busy lives, the choristers—affectionately known as ‘Blenders’—have honed their craft while forging meaningful connections with one another
and their audiences.
Since its inception in 2002, the members of Prairie Blend have harmonized across the province and contributed to numerous
local organizations, all while refining their artistry. This choral ensemble embodies unity, growth, and spirit – hallmarks of a
true ‘prairie blend.’
